I have no problem with Instagram. I think the app is great. I just hope that soon, Instagram will have a “search” feature inside the messages. Because sometimes, i want to search something of what I sent/said to my friends and i have to scroll ALL THE WAY UP through all my chats - and it’s really annoying. Overall, I think Instagram is a great app.

It’s a good app to connect with friends and family. I am enjoying it a bit however, I really would like an option to mute certain hashtags so they are not visible on my feed or the discover page. Please look into this. This is the only thing which makes my experience less enjoyable.

I get adverts on my feed and when I click on them I get taken to the app story on my smart phone to download the game. I download It and It turns out to be a completely different game to what was previewed to me on my feed. Feels very sketchy and unprofessional.

Would be cool if ig allows a published picture to be edited (eg: the crop size) so that users don’t have to re-upload them to fit their satisfaction. In many cases, users often repost their pictures which could possibly annoy their followers and thereafter, experience low engagement for their posts. I think this move would be greatly appreciated by the users if implemented!

Instagram is a great social media platform. I really enjoy it. I use the app and website. I have a suggestion for the website that would make it 1,000 times better. Can you please add the direct messaging feature on the website? Since you have it on the app it would make sense to have it on the website as well. If you have it on the website more people would use the website. With twitter the direct message feature is on the website and app. Since it’s on the website and app I use the website more frequently. I’d like to suggest to Instagram to let people change the order of their own pictures on their feed however they want so that everyones profile feed would look aesthetically good.

I update my app, July 31, 2018. Completely turn off my phone over the night, No setting changed to both phone and your app except your own update. Next day I turn on the phone, and left it on a table, come back 40 minutes or less later, turn on my phone to check email and my cellular tracking app show a warning masseag show me a warning in data usage. it said I have used more than 100 MG!
ok, I just turn on the phone and I didn’t use anything during that 40 minuts, so I check what apps using my data and I can see IG suck up 98MG during that 40 minuts!
Last night I did the samething, turn off the phone over the night, and this morning it does the same thing. I check my IG setting and found out that the “use less data” was somehow off, so I turn it back on and 5 hours later, it suck out another +100MG without me using my phone that much.
I seriously think you latest update has some bug. I was working good before the update on July 31, 2018. please fix

Instagram is an amazing product for posting work. However, on Instagram alone, work is stolen so much more now. The amount of stolen work and theft accounts are rising each day. Myself alone in a gaming community. One person is continuing to harass other accounts as we speak. Stealing work from the right owners However, the owners can not report them, for thief has blocked them. Furthermore, they reach out to others hoping that could report the thief. Consequently, they can not report them due to the system that you have. The thief has not stopped. At least 5 fake accounts used for stealing was found by them alone. They are targeting those in the community who have little knowledge to watermarking, or those who have a larger fan-base. People want a change in how to report stolen content. To help the owners of the stolen content, would help bring down the theft accounts. If other people could report theft accounts with proof, it would help those who need it. Not everyone can take down a theft alone if your blocked by them. They block you so that way you won’t know that your content is stolen. This issue needs a solution. Perhaps changing the way how the reporting works will solve that. People have evidence against theft accounts, but they can not report it because the content is not their’s. So they try to report it as spam. Hoping that it would be taken down sooner or later. However, it just continues to worsen when they can’t.

Good app, enjoy using it. However, the amount of accounts which spam many tags in the comments (often to the point where a cap is triggered) which are verified is annoying, and don’t seem to be addressed very quickly (understandably)

I see things you’ve removed at least for laptop users when working their account and fellow accounts and interaction, things you’ve removed, making it more difficult and making it not worth commenting unless one is ?? % committed to one’s comment.
You eliminated in this last year the ability online on laptop or computer, to X out or ‘delete’ a comment on someone’s account by clicking on the ‘X’.
Now one has to access one’s Ipod Touch or Iphone via the Instagram app and rifle through the list of comments on any one picture posted by another or even by self before one can ultimately and thankfully ‘delete’.
It’d be preferred if one could click on an ‘option’ that listed all comments for ‘easy access’, and thankfully I don’t make many however, please make Instagram accessible and user friendly for both iphone users & macbook users via laptop.
Sorry, I’ve never owned a PC anything / Android, what’s that. LOL

I am finding that your process for recovering my hijacked Instagram account is 1) Very difficult to find 2) Extremely confusing and at the moment 3)Feeling very useless. My account was hijacked at 3:26 pm EST. On Tuesday July 24th. I have been going back and forth with the Instagram 2Fac Support since Tuesday night. Because the process is so confusing, I accidentally created a second account with the same email (so when I submit a problem report using the email it tells me that the account has been permanently deleted-which I did). I have also now submitted too many reports to be helped because you can only help me with one account at a time. This is insane and makes me want to stop using the app all together. At this point, I don’t really care about the pictures. I will probably permanently delete the account if I get it back. I just want to know that no one else has control over my name (the account is still in my name) and my photos (which include pictures of my children).

Hi Instagram–

A few suggestions to vastly improve the user experience. I’m sure these have been brought up before, but the changes really need to be implemented as IG has become an ESSENTIAL platform for businesses and marketing:

-PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE remove the mandatory read receipts from DMs. It’s extremely frustrating and feels like a violation of privacy. Please make direct message requests searchable without then posting a read receipt.
-Please set up a dedicated account hacking PHONE line that has an actual process for responding to hackings. There are many people who spend years building their accounts and some whose livelihood depend on them that lose everything and are not helped at all.
-Please allow commenting via desktop application, or at least for business accounts through facebook pages please have the responses nest inside the comments like they do on the app, not be added as separate comments.
-Please allow direct posting of videos/multiple photo series on scheduling apps. It’s exhausting for social media teams.

Although it is a good social networking site but some users don’t give it a try because direct message is not available on site so to increase its productivity I whould recommend you to add direct message feature on its site.

Often when I use instagram, I go down into the comments and see posts with over 150 replies. Sometimes I wanna read up to the first reply, but that can take such a long time to get to. The fact that you’re able to read up the replies from most recent by 3 replies a time, is really great if you’re already apart of the thread and you don’t want to have to keep scrolling in order to see more recent replies. The problem now is the opposite.. People just keep clicking and scrolling clicking and scrolling just to see what has been happening in the replies in order. There should be an added option that lets you see all replies instantly, instead of just having to click aggressively several times to see the beginning of the thread.

I’d like to voice my distaste for the new design which takes up a significant amount of the app screen with a permanent bar showing the stories.

Are you insane? its an image sharing app and now the images are covered up. I have never submitted feedback for any app but this is so obnoxious I couldn’t say anything.

I have used facebook less and less as it have been developed to its terrible current state. Now instagram is going the same way and I am getting more and more interested in deleting the app.

I was thinking that you should consider including an option that allows users to delete a single photo from an Instagram album.

It would be amaaaazing if there was the possibility to change the order of the caroussel/ th photoset if you post more than one photo in one post or delete one photo out of the set…because I‘d love to keep some photos out of it and others I‘d like to delete…
