Instagram has grown exponentially in the last few years, and has become a home for influencers, artists and musicians to showcase their work. It now makes sense to not only view it on a bigger screen, but to have full desktop site functionality so that users aren't having to switch back and forth between desktop and mobile to accomplish tasks. I would also like to see a more robust messaging ux on desktop, and potentially some content creation tools, i.e. video editor, clip art, live animated effects and filters etc. Make it more of a power user hub than a token experience. Just a thought, cheers! <p>I understand the initial reasoning behind having a reduced functionality for the desktop site in order to push users to the mobile app. However I would use Instagram more often If this were remedied.
