I really do enjoy Instagram. I’ve worked on Instagram for a few years now. But honestly, the platform is so complicated these days. It use to be simple. Everyone who followed you, used to see your content. Instagrams point is pretty clear these days. It’s almost as it’s thrown in your face what you guys care about - ads / money. There has to be a balance to your vision. Your people. It’s the people who use your app that keeps Instagram running, right? It’s hard to even grow nowadays. Making a living on Instagram is impossible because of the constant changes with the algorithm. You want people to stay long term on your app, then there has to be more benefit for the creator behind the app. Many big name bloggers I know can say the same. It’s pretty sad how people feel about this app. Again, I enjoy it. But I loved it way more 5 years ago. It use to be different. It use to have the creators favor in mind. It use to be simple. Anyone who followed you can see your content. It use to be fun connecting with random people around the world. Nowadays you don’t even know who sees your account. Why make it so hard? You want to be the #1 app, then you need to keep the creators in mind. When I put money and time towards this app every week, and I don’t grow an inch - you think I want to stay long term? I’m sure a lot of people can say the same. Also, being a good quality app isn’t copying what someone else is doing (it’s making your platform unique and advancing what you have to offer) tiktok is tiktok. You are Instagram. <p>I truly don’t know if feedback is read or not - but eh &#x1f937;&#x1f3fb;??? it’s worth a shot. I really do enjoy Instagram. I’ve worked on Instagram for a few years now.
