It made me realise how much value I gave to likes and how much I relied on likes and the opinions of others to navigate my way around Instagram, now I base my experience off of my own values and preferences which I think is a very positive thing. Not only has this allowed me to become more in touch with myself and what I like, it’s also given me the freedom to post whatever I want whenever I want without the added stress of having to get 100+ likes on each photo. If there is anyone who thinks this is a bad change I’d love to hear why. Even for “influencers” I think the positives outweigh the negatives. <p>At first I felt really weird about the no likes thing but after a while I realised how significant a change this was.
